Folks, I am in the final stages of converting an offer for the position of Senior Advisor, Business Intelligence at Dell Technologies
If this gets converted what should be a good salary range to negotiate with the HR?

If you’re interested in data science and/ or tech consulting, why do you want to get a CFA? Don’t chase certifications just to check a box, think about what you actually want to learn and do. Since you mentioned tech consulting, the AWS certifications are a good way to go. Similar for Azure and GCP (though probably less valuable than AWS). Other things to consider are Tableau certification, Google analytics, and any courses (udemy, coursera) that will help you get better at Python or R. If what you ultimately want is to be a manager, or if you want to be in finance or strategy consulting, then forget about all of this and just work three more years and get a top 15 MBA

So you’re in finance, but you want to be a data scientist.
What does the CFA do for you? Nothing
What does an AWS cert do you for? Something helpful here.
What does a PMP do for you? Nothing.
Go pick up some deep Python skills and learn to build ML/AI models, ideally XGBoost as it’s hot right now

Hahah there’s a reason it’s winning competitions and being bought by clients. Definitely better than a CFA or some other non data science certs

Vastly different certs. CFA far more difficult and time consuming

Also, with only 1YOE I wouldn’t aim for senior roles in an area you have no experience
These certifications all have wildly different career paths. If you want to go finance route (corporate), finance fundamentals and data science will be your best bet
You need to figure out what you want to do for a living first, and then figure out what certs will help you either get there or be successful once there.
The only general purpose thing that could likely help regardless of path is a top MBA, but that is expensive and time consuming.
