Currently a big 4 intern applying to mbb/T2 firms, but want to know if there are any jobs in tech that offer similar compensation right out of undergrad. I’m also not a cs or swe major so it would have to be a non-tech role.

Hi everyone! Looking to get some feedback into optimus SBR. I recieved an offer for 85k as an associate consultant. My current salary is 60k at a bank - fully remote. Can anyone speak on their culture and worklife balance? Ive been told by recruitment that it is min 3 days in office. Im reading some mix reviews here and really conflicted if i should make the move over as i do love where im working right now (but of course would love to switch to a higher paying role) any comments are helpful :)

I got laid off in January and have been trying to find a new job since. I keep making it to the phone interview and sometimes a second interview, but always get ghosted. It’s so disheartening.

I have too much experience for an internship, and I have too little to be the top choice for copywriter roles. I know I’m a good writer, I know what I’m capable of, but it’s so exhausting trying to convince people. They always like my book but it’s never enough to get the gig. What can I do?

I gave two rounds of interview on 7th and 8th April and there's no update from hiring manager till date.
I asked for an update once, shall I ask again?
What shall I ask?
I'm just so confuse, earlier use to receive update in a day or so but this is the longest wait.

Thoughts on Director of Software Engineering at a small firm $165k base + 10% annual bonus. No stock options, no RRSP match. YOE 12, experience in current role 3 yrs.
Current compensation $140k, no stock options or RRSP match, but love the organization.

Does anyone know if all MBB and big 4 have policies regarding what level they can hire you at based on your Years of experience?
