Currently a young Engineer, who just started their professional career. In the next few years I’d like to transition into sales, for SaaS or Medical (since I’m relatively technically inclined). Anyone sick of your work?

We went to a wedding and husband was not wearing a mask at the airport and in public places . He gets Covid and we find out several of the guests also got Covid . No way of knowing who was patient zero. We have a toddler who has symptoms (tested negative) but now can’t go to daycare and I’m also not feeling well but still negative. I’m angry with my spouse since even when he was sick he didn’t mask at home and refuses to isolate in his room (would eat in the living room).

Nurses (or anyone) in biotech/pharmaceuticals/medical device sales: I am interested in making a switch and growing my career in one of these fields. Love the idea of making greater scale impact on patients. Looking for tips and advice on how to break into the industry as I start the process. Hey guys! Went to college with full intention of getting into medical school. Graduated right before the pandemic which gave time to think long and hard about going to med school. Decided I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, and am trying to pivot into consulting. What’s your PTO policy? My firm offers 10 vacation days and 5 sick days. I know the private sector tends to have less PTO time compared to government jobs but I’m curious to know just how stingy my firm is lol

*Medical Records Requests / Reducing Expenses / HITECH*
I recently left my corporate paralegal role to return to a small personal injury firm. I was shocked to learn that the HITECH fee no longer applies if a client requests their medical records be sent to a third-party (e.g. attorney). Has anyone had any success modifying their HITECH request template for clients so there IS a fee limitation AND the records are sent directly to their attorney? Paying $100+ for hospital records is sickening.

Would you recommend dropping out of an MHA program from a non-target school (1 year in) and just doing well on the GRE to get into a top MBA?

I planned to go to medical school after my undergrad, but ended up cancelling my matriculation due to mental health reasons. Panicked and enrolled in an MHA (it doesn't teach any hard skills). I don't want to be mediocre, and I've been getting rejected by a lot of companies. I'm worried about my future. Recommend dropping?

Does anyone have any advice as far as referencing a disability during the interview process? I have a speech disorder where I am sometimes (maybe a week out of the month) unable to communicate verbally at all. Should I bring this up because the interviewer can’t? Should I only bring it up if it becomes observable? Should I do my best to hide it until I’m hired?

Base 142 with 100% match, so 284 OTE. Accelerators after 100, which doubles up to 125. (101 to goal will garner 102 in commission, 105 will 110, caps out at 125 so max is 150% commission)

Q1 is looking good already so feel good about things. But curious if this is a good deal.

I spoke to a recruiter about a month ago regarding a position. The comp base variable split was 70/30 which was a great guarantee compared to 50/50 split on same OTE I have now. Since initial discussions the offer has changed to 60/40 split and a 20k lower OTE). I am quite disappointed but also see it a still a very strong opp and I’m really ready to try something new. They mentioned a signing bonus. What is a reasonable signing bonus to ask for? Its 40k difference from the orig base.
