If you got rejected from a job but the reach back out a week later because the first choice reneged their offer would you take it? I know this likely happens all the time but I just feel like the dynamic of being the back up choice is not something I want to feel when I start. I would be working directly with the hiring manager who didn't choose me first and would feel like I would always have that chip on my shoulder. Am I being overactive? I've kind of already moved on and started applying
