Currently at a startup where most of the non founder leaders have left in the last few months, 2 layoffs, many key employees have left BUT sales remain strong and company has 1 year of runway. Just got an offer from EY for effectively the same job, title bump, 50% increase in TC. However, I ultimately want to break into data science and EY role is not DS. What should I do? Should I decline off and keep recruiting for a true DS role or accept and then keep recruiting?

Need some suggestions from everyone. I have 4.5 years experience and I was working as contractor in ZS and my CTC in parent company was 7 Lakhs.

ZS were willing to offer me FTE as ZS but at a compensation of meagre 8.5 Lakhs. I tried negotiating but they sticked with this.

How come ZS do that? Why can't they pay more as they generally pay 15+ for 4.5 years experience.

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus.
