I'm having the last loop interviews with Amazon for an analyst position, but I'm realizing that it might not be the right place for me, I'm currently working at hpe and have a good balance, 11+ YOE, I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. Can someone tell me about what level sales ops analyst job might be? I looked for range salaries and it looks like it is 55k for Germany, so not really much of what I'm earning now.
I read bad comments about the culture and the workload balance.

Goto tier 2 first. Be good. Get promoted. Network. Goto mbb
Experience in something other than consulting, and/or a master’s degree.
Otherwise wait until you’re very senior and can bring additional clients into MBB.
You’ll probably have to start at the bottom so I’d just try and do it ASAP. Use your current projects to practice using frameworks, mental maths etc.
Get a referral, practice your cases
It seems like hiring for MBB into tech roles is an easier path, FWIW.
What’s tier 3, is that what we’re calling big 4 these days?
No, only Deloitte is tier 3
Even with a referral, it’s hard to get an interview if you’re not differentiated somehow from tons of other candidates.
Try applying to see how it goes? We do recruit from boutique firm. Not sure the definition exact of what needed to pass HR screening though.
And if an MBA does appeal to you and you can attend a top school - lots of people use it as a career “reset” and end at MBB
