Hi Fishes, i got a mail from deloitte We’re writing to inform that you have cleared our interview process at Deloitte. Due to current business circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the next steps, now. The process is taking more time than we had anticipated earlier and communicated. We would like to re-assure you that we are dedicatedly working to process your application . We hope that you treat this as a momentary ‘pause’ in this journey. Does it mean they put me on Hold?

I've asked a few questions for my sister, passing another one along.
Is there defined promotion criteria from LA to SA? Or does it depend on admin chain, org, and/or politics?
She is looking at LA positions now as a potential comeback kid, and while she was at BAH 10+ years ago, she's forgotten the details, though they'd likely be severely outdated even if she remembered.
TIA!
Feeling super low. I got an offer for a PM role with Capital One that I was so excited about. After sending a negotiation letter however, the team then WITHDRAWS my offer saying I’m no longer a good fit . I was respectful and only asked for things that my existing org offered, and made it clear I was happy to adjust if not feasible. I’m beyond disappointed and borderline depressed. It’s been a long job search and this feels awful

Timing the stock market is a losing game. Get rid of your loans or invest now into index funds.
Make sure you leave an emergency fund though
To me, cash is king, I would keep it and just pay the payments, I would sleep better knowing I had cash to pay off my debts vs no debt and low cash. For example, I have 3x mortgage in the stock market, I know I can pay it off, but it doesn’t make sense because getting cash out of a house is a pain where as in 3 days I can get it from the stock market if needed
Makes sense. The stock market is just ridiculously high right now.
High?
Ridiculously high?
It took S&P merely a little over two years to double, going from 750 to 1500 in the 90s.
From there it took almost 20 years to get to where we are now (3000).
I say it’s pretty cheap and the rally has just begun.
