Currently have personal AMEX. Just got offered 50K sign up, $200 travel credit, Pre check, centurion/delta lunges etc for AMEX Platinum. Anyone have it? How does it compare to CSR?

I love it and it's $699 in Canada. We also don't have CSR here.

Getting rid of mine before the annual fee since I have the CSR

CSR has 100k sign up and option for cash back (I don't think Amex has cash back) for points.

Wait for the 100K Plat offer, they offer it once or twice a year

Don't think CSR is offering 100K anymore (cut it a few weeks ago). Primary reason why I was considering Platinum since it is more competitive now. But if they offer 100K a few times a year, might wait it out. Thanks fam!

I've had it for a while. Love it. Particularly love amex concierge.

@OW1 how often do you get to take advantage of the concierge?

Every time I want to book a hard to book restaurant or get tickets to something, whenever I plan a vacation and have to make any kind of reservations in a different language. Super helpful.

Never sign up for Amex plat at less than 100k sign up, Amex bonuses are once in a lifetime.

Anyone have a resource that explains how this works in dummy terms? Lol

After reaching out to the general counsel on LinkedIn, I applied for an in-house job a month ago. I didn’t hear anything. A few days ago the general counsel reached out on LinkedIn and said she did not see my application in the mix but was hoping to and asked if I wanted to meet. I said I did apply, indicated I was interested in meeting, and asked if I could send my materials. She said yes and she would send me some times. I sent my materials and haven’t heard a thing. Any idea what is going on?

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.
