Hi Fishes, I have offers from PwC(risk advisory) and IBM(app development). Thing is that the PwC joining is at Kolkata location but I don't want to go there and stay. There is not much difference between the offers in terms of package(10 & 10.4). Can I ask PwC to provide WFH or change my office location for this? Deloitte EY PwC KPMG

Normally, I'd say try and wait it out until you hit the one year mark before leaving, but if you're already receiving offers and the pay/hours are better, then I'd say go for it. As long as you don't make a habit of changing jobs every few months, it shouldn't affect your prospects long term.
If it's been six months and you're being offered better money elsewhere, I would ask them to match the better offer or I would get out of there. It isn't too soon to ask since people are trying to poach you. Set up a 1-1 to talk about a raise, and explain that you have other, better offers but would like to stay if they can make that happen. If they can't, onwards and upwards!
I think the best way to ask for a raise if you are outside your one year mark is to gather other offers and use them as leverage. If you can go to your boss with a better offer they may be willing to increase your pay. Otherwise you just jump ship and call it a day.
