Currently I am working as a realtor after being in tech for 10 years. Real estate seemed to offer greater opportunities. Any words of wisdom for me?

The best advice I can give you is to stay focused and always continue learning. The real estate industry is constantly changing and evolving, so it's important to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques. Keep your mind open to new opportunities, and always be willing to put in the extra effort to get the job done.

I couldn't agree more. Don't get comfortable; things evolve rapidly and it's on you to stay a step ahead.

It is very important that you learn to listen to what your clients say, because more attention you pay to what they say, better you will get to know them and the better you will be able to help them choose a property that suits their tastes and needs. They should know that you listen to them, that way you will gain their trust and they will be more communicative.

You must keep your social networks updated, as they are important sources of information for customers. Managing your social networks professionally and effectively will allow you to have greater visibility and increase the positioning of your website.

A good real estate advisor should be optimistic, consistent and have good listening skills. The transaction of a property involves more difficult moments where you can't quit, even though sometimes that's what we want.

Do your research and make sure you know what the real estate industry entails. Having a strong network of contacts in the industry is also important, as this can help you when starting out. Also, be prepared for a lot of hard work and long hours; real estate can be a competitive industry.

The real estate industry can be very rewarding, with many growth opportunities. Some tips for success include staying up to date on industry news and trends, building relationships with clients and other professionals in the industry, and being prepared to work hard.

Congrats on the change! Have you been in the industry for long? If not, my advice to you is have realistic expectations your first year. That doesn't mean lose motivation, but understand that a lot of success in the industry has to do with connections. And with that, make sure you use your connections! Let everyone know you have made the career change and to pass your name on if anyone needs your services.

For 5 years I basically had 10 frequent clients. Now those clients have brought me an average of two each, and now I have 30 constant clients and a bunch of clientele in my agency. It's true that serious, responsible, and consistent work pays off, let's say that I no longer worry about selling, practically, the houses that I show sell themselves.

Some agents are not sincere, and some houses have a negative record (this is what we call the incidents inside the homes), but many agents do not say it. I know it is about ethics, but at the same time, it should be punishable because you are deceiving a person to take advantage of the situation; it is a scam.

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !

Part of this is choosing a RE consulting firm to engage. We’re looking for people to gather a lot of data on various markets and create various economic reports. Also other data as needed to make a slide deck. Anybody have recommendations/personal experience at a consulting firm with Multifamily practice?

A good strategy I have is to see what type of client I am talking to and make dinner in the house for that person. I mean, if it is a couple I prepare a romantic dinner for two, and I tell them to come well-dressed and let them enjoy the dinner in the house. If it is a family, I prepare a family dinner and prepare the family table for all the people who would live in the house. Making them feel at home before buying the house does not fail, what do you think? What other strategies do you use?
