First figure out why you feel you are terrible- either you don’t know the syntax or have difficulty in building logic because of no coding background. Start with courses to get basic familiarity.Once you know the basic syntax do some exercises on your own. If you know one language you can ramp up on others very fast.
Yes sql would be a very good start
SQL is the foundation for everything data science. Then you can explore with Python and/or R. “Learn Python 3 the Hard Way” was a highly recommended book by data scientists I’ve spoken to.
I personally like Hackerrank for thinking through different scenarios, although a lot of folks would vote for DataCamp or Leetcode. All these sites also support more general purpose coding languages as well. Hands-on experience is the best though, so at some point consider downloading MySQL or a related product. I also think most of the cloud providers have limited free trial periods. Good luck!
Idk about Accenture, but Booz gives a Udemy subscription to all employees. It’s a great resource for learning pretty much any technical skills you want.
No one is terrible at coding. Everyone can be good at it if they practice enough, it’s like driving a car.
Code academy
I usually advise people to go play around with some APIs and explore the code on their favorite websites as a way to ramp up.
Probably better to start with structured books/courses that teach you fundamentals and build up to advanced topics before drowning yourself in code of questionable quality
