Currently in FSO, working on a pretty big client and the partner on this engagement is a very “big deal”, a lot of people are scared of him. If I want to change to commercial audit do you think my current team and partner would give me a hard time? How do teams view a staff that wants to change team after one busy season ? Hello, I am trying for onsite in my current project but it seems like no one is taking it seriously, there is no chance of that happening anytime soon in this project. Should I switch my company? Do companies hire employee with onsite opportunities or do they only send old folks onsite??

Recently joined Deloitte USI. After just few months, I can say that I don’t feel I belong here. 1. No one explained the processes as the buddy assigned was first on leave and then too busy to connect due to project deliverables. 2. Scatterplot has released and I am not able to get why was I given that dot as average when I performed at par. 3. I asked twice, kind of got the run around. When I asked a 3rd time, she said the hiring manager will determine that if they decide to move me along. Also no project information or client names were discussed since I would have to sign an NDA. The call was just a few basic q’s, including what I look for in a manager.

Maybe someone here could help me? - I can’t find female partners who are in my life stage and are able to manage life and work. The female partners are either older or have no kids or have an army of nannies to work crazy hours. - I am an introvert and have a hard time imagining myself making fake friendships and rapports with client team members for the sake of making a sale.

New joinee. Got into a project with 11 to 8 shift.. but the manager expecting to work over time and complete tasks even if it is assigned at 7.30 .. is this common in deloitte ? I dont like extending after 9 hours and planning to push back. I dont mind getting poor rating. Project is also not allocated on my primary skill. Can i ask release within a month in first project?

Audit seniors, who do you deal with mostly from client end? Senior accountants or CFO/CAO/controllers? I know it also depends on the structure and size of the client. My sr manager (he's new on the job) let me deal with the CFO mostly. It's a repeating client for me but I've only been talking to the senior accountants, seems like he's not making any effort in terms of client relationship.

I have joined EY in Feb 2022 and till date didn’t get a project. but now i have been assigned to a non technical project. When i check woth my manger/counsellor she told me continue in the project for arkeast 6 months But I don’t want to as it is of no use in my carrier What should i do? Shall i resign?
