ACN is 8 weeks maternity, 8 weeks parental leave, 4 weeks unpaid but protected leave if your state offers that as a benefit (I think CA, NJ, WA). Can tack on PTO. Unpaid (and unprotected) LOA for up to an additional 365 days. I had PPO and a c-section and felt like I had to pay quite a bit out of pocket, can’t remember the actual costs

26 weeks of job protected leave. 4 weeks antepartum std, 6 weeks post psrtum std (8 with a c section), 6 weeks paid parental leave. And the remainder can take unpaid, pto, or state leave (if your state offers it). I've been off since March, will be back to work in September. It's been amazing!

helpful

Our std is full pay, if you have state std leave then kpmg supplements to get you to 100%

Just keep in mind that you might need to be somewhere for X amount of time before your maternity leave benefits kick in

Yes aware of that. I believe for all three I read that it’s 1 year and I’m not currently expecting so all good.

Come to pwc! We have great maternity benefits. I can refer 😁

I’ll look at some postings and DM you!

What type of consulting do you do? If in the HR or talent space, I recommend Korn Ferry. The culture is great for working moms, and we have 20 weeks, not including FMLA/state-specific leave/STD.

Let me know if you’re interested in talking!

Feeling like my firm has a very outdated parental leave policy (and none of the women partners have children)! What is the parental leave policy at your firm? Please include: (1) size of firm; (2) location of firm (city, state); (3) how many paid weeks off from firm (not state/fed benefits); (4) other policies such as ramp up/down time, etc.

Hey all I need help. Is this health insurance good? Hard to compare online: NYC, single, PPO, Cigna, $528/month, $20/copay for appointments, no referrals, $5k deductible, 7k max out of pocket.

Senior, pregnant and worried about busy season because half the seniors in my practice quit in the past two months. Directors have said to seniors “brace yourself”. I am already stressed and high risk and off my ADHD meds and struggling a lot to get work done. Is it worth taking maternity leave early and “screwing over” my teams? I feel guilty. Doctor suggested to take medical leave if I am struggling. Need advice 😢

Doing some benchmarking as we revisit our leave policy. Do any of your firms offer external career coaching for transitioning into / then back from parental leave? Any organizations you’d recommend or things you’ve found to be particularly helpful / successful? Thank you!

I graduated in May 2020 and found myself excepting a Junior Art Director position in Healthcare. I never saw myself in health but with many agencies having hiring freezes I decided to get some experience and save up some money in the meantime. Fast forward one year; I’ve added a new campaign to my website and I’m starting to apply to consumer agencies again. Any tips to help me make the transition? Any place to avoid? Who have you noticed is hiring again? Thanks in advance :)

Not nearly enough messages. Was a senior when I had a kid...so nice of KPMG to NOT tell me the way to properly submit for parental leave back in the day.

I have an opportunity to take over the 401k at my credit union and was thinking about getting this as it seems like it could be done pretty quickly and may pay dividends in the future.

As someone with a background in the military, is it worth it to try to go back to the government as a tax analyst or senior tax analyst for the Dept of the Treasury? I'm wondering if I'll have an edge in getting hired as I've been at the GS-13 level before I left the military and I'm hoping I can use that time in service to add to a pension time requirement in the government.

I currently make 60LPA in Hyderabad and my firm has an offer for 150k in Chicago. Is it worth? I am generally happy with the package in India and have good savings as I own my house in Hyderabad and I am not a lavish spender. I have been onsite in US previously with an allowance but I did not go crazy over the so called American experience. Single earner with one kid.

Facebook managers, any tips for the data science manager final interview loops? Just got intimation that I cleared the screening round from two weeks ago. Have a conversation with the recruiter next week about the next steps, but any pointers would be great. The screening round interviews were reasonably easy. Is the next round an order of magnitude more difficult? Are Data Science managers expected to code or just read code? I got conflicting answers from the interviewer and recruiter.

Anybody work at Amazon? Are their offers negotiable? My husband got an offer for a senior position in the VA office paying $120k plus $20k bonus plus 13 shares of stock that vest over 4 years. My husband has ~6 years of experience (2 yrs midsize PA plus various industry roles) so the senior title is low but have heard you have to take a step down in title to work at Fortune 25 companies. He likes the offer but not sure if he should negotiate for more because it’s expected?
