Currently in IT Audit. Are there any other types of jobs at big 4 I could apply to that are more interesting but don’t require travel.

Met a guy on Grindr who was visiting my city for the week. We had dinner Friday night. Met up again Sat afternoon and spent a full 24 hours together. Enough in common to keep the conversation going, not get on my nerves, and enough chemistry to be attracted too. Is the next step plan a trip and hang out again for a day or two? I acknowledge jumping to anything more serious than travel buddies would be challenging and unlikely given the distance. Thoughts?

How is the situation for MBB firms currenty in Dubai? Is the business picking up? I am thinking of moving to the region from Europe and got offers from BCG, Bain and Kearney. Would be nice to get some insights on the culture and business outlook esp. since COVID. Are there significant differences in terms of the travel policies among these firms. In Europe I know that BCG is quite relaxed, when it comes to their travel policies.

How does training look like for ACs at Bain? Is it standard across all Bain offices globally? How long is it, is it done only in home office or involves travel too?

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Hi Fishes! Needed your help. This is my first job. I have an offer from a startup (very well known) and I'm in the process of interviewing for a Big 4 org. I'm in a dilemma because the startup wants me to join on 31st oct while the big4's 3rd round will be held on 1st nov. I prefer joining the big4 org more. A little helpless situation because of the diwali holidays. Can I delay the offer for a week more? I had mentioned to them that I'm a immediate joiner also. Please help.
