Currently interviewing with Amazon for an associate corporate counsel role. After the first round, I was quickly moved on to the written exercise but its now been a month since I submitted it and I haven’t received any update on my application despite following up with HR once. Wondering if anyone is in a similar boat and whether I should just write it off as a refusal… if anyone here works at Amazon, would be helpful to know if this is common. Thanks!

Follow up again! Act like you want it!

They usually (or should) act quickly. My recruiter was in constant communication. You should follow up.

This was for corporate counsel role but My experience was really quick responses. After initial recruiter call I was scheduled for a initial interview call. I actually wasn’t asked to do a written exercise till I had that first screener call scheduled (had to submit it at least 24hrs before the call). Was scheduled for full loop within a week of that, Heard I passed full loop the next day. Definitely worth following up.

What was the written exercise?

An email to the internal client with legal advice based on a hypothetical.

like

My recruiter keeps saying I’ll get the written exercise reviewed by the hiring manager ASAP. Oh well. I’ll move on to something else.

Hi Fellow professionals,
I am eagerly looking for a job change but I don't want to limit myself to just Marketing (I have 3 years of experience in this field).
What are the other job options available for me without having to start all over again? What is a lucrative business/market/industry r.n.? I would love to work for Blockchain, Defi, AI, ML or even sustainability industry but I am open to other options.
Have any of you did something similar recently and are enjoying the new job change?
