Currently interviewing with Amazon for an associate corporate counsel role. After the first round, I was quickly moved on to the written exercise but its now been a month since I submitted it and I haven’t received any update on my application despite following up with HR once. I’m currently on a secondment to a client in a lit/regulatory role and this is so much better than life at a firm, I love it here. What are the downsides that I’m not seeing? Is it just the money or are these positions just really hard to get?

Privacy associate, 3 YOE. I’ve made it to the final round of interviewing for two businesses now over the course of the last 5 months or so that I’ve been applying. Am I too junior to be applying? I’m wondering now if there’s something wrong with me as an applicant. It’s discouraging and exhausting to get through 6ish interviews while working big law hours and get a no and I want to make sure there isn’t a fatal flaw with me as a candidate.

I work at a large, global software company, and am looking to make a move to a more collaborative environment with better culture. I’ve been offered a more senior position at a smaller North American company in the crypto space where I know I will learn a lot, but I’m worried it might hurt my overall career trajectory. How do I get signatories to fill in their company name correctly on a DocuSign PowerForm NDA? I’m not allowed to reach out to people in advance and prepare customized NDAs for them, because “everyone is automated” and “that’s too slow and causes too much work for them.” I moved the signatory info to the signature block and made a “Full Legal Name of Entity you Represent” line, but people still screw it up and I’m getting blamed. WTF do I do?
