Benefits of wearing masks: 1) Reduce spread of Covid and save lives 2) By reducing spread, we can open up the economy sooner and get people back to work. Note: we didn’t wear masks during the flu season because Covid is 10x deadlier. Any questions?

At my spouse’s work (nursing home), four fully vaccinated residents were just tested positive for coronavirus. The nursing home prohibited all outside visits. Some workers resisted to calls for vaccination, blackmailed the administration with threats of quitting. I am feeling very sorry, they are understaffed, they can’t even fill the current open positions (People don’t even want to work for a nursing home, nursing home can’t increase wage due to running at a minus). Please get vaccinated!

How do you make a new friends in 2022? Took a job in a small, quiet city. Blue New England area that's very COVID cautious. Most bars close before 11p. I like the firm, I like the work, but I cannot see myself staying long term in an area where I don't have friends and everyone seems scared of interacting with people they don't know. I'm not even talking about dating (though that'd be nice), I'm just talking about not spending all my off time drinking alone in my apartment.

If the government really wanted to end Covid they should’ve given contracts to popular US clothing brands like: Nike, Under Armor, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfinger, Calvin Klein, The North Face, etc. Point being, if these brands designed their own masks in bulk people would be more inclined to wear “their favorite brand” opposed to a surgical mask or no mask at all.

Covid depression, anxiety, feeling unmotivated and not creative at all. So, I decided to try microdosing 🍄. Desperate for anything at this point. I think they could be working as my mental state feels elevated the days after taking them. However, for several hours right after I take one - I’m horribly anxious and sad, tears are just falling. Anyone have any experience? This depression is really affecting my work performance and I was hoping this could save me. Thanks ❤️

Non-accounting rant…Our lease is up at the end of April and we recently got our new lease contract. All of a sudden, the leasing company is requiring renter’s insurance. It’s apparently a new requirement for all new and current residents. It’s definitely a good thing to have, but isn’t there some sort of requirement for landlords to communicate big changes to leases in advance and not just stick it on the lease and hope everyone reads it? It seems kinda predatory and sneaky.
