you don’t get a comp adjustment down, it just gets reflected in your eoy performance raises (ie small to no raises if you’re too high in the band)
Small adjustment down about 10-15k but your take home will actually be (marginally) better

Is there not a salary sheet for Deloitte? PwC has one and you can see the different tiers for location.
If you follow one of the consulting Instagram pages I think they have an excel sheet that breaks down all the bands for all the city’s
Or hear me out just move there and don’t say a thing.
They need to know for tax purposes....however, they can't lower your current salary.
