I just got my first NP job (graduate in a couple weeks) in family medicine in south central PA and my starting salary will be $96K base plus 10% ($9600) in quality bonus. There’s additional earning potential in productivity bonuses as well but I definitely won’t be earning that anytime soon. I don’t know any primary care NPs who are paid by the hour but I guess if you divided that by a 40 hour work week, it would be about $51/hour which is well above what an RN makes around here (I currently make $43/hour as an ICU RN)
Thanks! Looking to take a PT position, which I assume will likely be hourly.
Based off of what I know of the nurse pracs at our hospital, I'd assume anywhere from $50/hr to $55/hr. As a new grad, probably the low end of that.
