Help! Returning to work after taking the full Mat Leave (16 weeks plus a few of vaca right after). So nervous to start traveling again away weekly away from my kids. The firm now wants us in the office more than pre-COVID as well. What can I reasonably ask for to make this easier on me without tanking my career? Will I ruin my career if I let my boss know that my coworker in a group project hasn't been doing his assigned work? Just started this new job and the cowork started a few months before me. Depression and anxiety were affecting my job and so I told my counselor and HR lead. I took a leave of absence (short term disability). I returned and was laid off due to “no path forward” not due to performance. I generally have good performance reviews though only an average performance on my last project. For those that grappled with multiple offers, how did you go about choosing Bain vs BCG?

I started after the annual revenue goal had been set, and it’s literally a 45% increase with no additional advertising budget, no new resources or automation, no new products or launches…nothing…and the industry is seeing sharp declines. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL.
