Why do EB’s ask unrealistic and difficult technicals while BB’s are much easier in my exp? Do schools have specific courses to prep for IB interviews? Not the best way to screen IMO

What do most military vets with 9-10 years of service and an MBA typically make at the big 4? Hearing everything from 75k-145k, is the band really this wide?
followed up after 4 interviews and was told that they’re still interviewing and will decide by next week. that’s not a good sign, right?
Does B4 still pay out your 2 week notice if you’re told not to come back for the 2 weeks? I’m giving my notice but have a week of paid personal days and a week of training for the 2 weeks of notice

Honestly so sick of recruiters, I had someone tell me that most people leave public accounting for less money than they made in audit.... so let me get this straight, we work hard for 2-3 years so that we can find a job that pays less? I’m on my 2nd day of a new job and it’s nothing like what I was expecting or what the hiring manager said. On top of it, the clients I’m working with has these crazy, outdated brand guidelines that the team has to go by and the creative I’ve seen is just not that great (assuming it’s due to the clients branding). I just don’t know what to do, I feel like this isn’t the place for me but I haven’t even given it a full week yet. Has anyone experienced feelings like this before? What did you do?
