That’s a hard no from me. I’d need a 25% raise to change my life that much.
That’s what I’m thinking. Waiting to talk to the offering firm again to renegotiate. It’d need to be $40k plus to make it work I think.
Its barely a raise. Have you calculated how much your gas, maintenance, time, eating out at work, etc will actually cost you, pretax?
I would not calculate your time because, it's not like you were going to get a different job for 1.5 hours a day, and you are getting an increase so it's cool, but I would instead calculate the costs of gas (2500), and cost of eating out and office requirements (200 weekly), so let's say a little over 2.5k+ 8k approx, so around 15k pretax, so you would be getting a 5k pretax raise. This is the number you need to consider (it's all very rough)

Not at all worth it. You’re already at $200k and working from home. You have it made. Don’t ruin it.
Huge lifestyle change…. I wouldn’t do it personally if I didn’t get at least 50k. Granted they’re not paying you for the lifestyle they’re paying you for the job but I think I’d need that much to change gears.
I mean that's not even worth opening or reading the offer past the comp line...20k on top of nearly 200k to change your life very dramatically... absolutely not. Wonder how you got to this point actually, did you not set/confirm comp early on, at least a reasonable range?
What is your current role? Would love to be internal, WFH for $180-200k!
I value my wfh and 4x a year travel at 15k. So any news offer is min that if it’s in an office. It would take 60-70k for me to change that much. I was at 165 and wfh FT, internal role and just got offered more than 65k more. Two days a week in the office. Little travel. I took it. Before then, 25k would not have done it.
