I don't believe it's kosher actually. I think the policy is the work has to be different from what we do on a daily basis. So you could launch your own business or startup, but doing contract work of the same natures isn't ok

Against policy. Otherwise, I'd be doing side gigs all the time.

Pretty sure you're fine having a second job if 1) you don't market yourself as an Accenture consultant and 2) you don't let it impact your expected work level

like

Caveat. If you're a drug dealer on the side maybe just not mention it and you'd probably be okay.

like

Definitely against policy

thanks everyone.

If you sell drugs to your team tho...

After weeks of talking about my pregnancy, showing my big baby belly on camera and being vocal about my excitement to be a FTM, I just discovered that one of my coworkers had a devastating miscarriage a few weeks ago. I feel HORRIBLE, and I am trying to think of anything I can do to help her feel supported. I truly had no idea, and as soon as I found out, I apologized profusely for all of my baby-talk when she was facing such a loss. Is there anything I can do for her? I am devastated for her 😣😭

So got a title change without the pay (due to covid) but then does that mean my promotion didn’t technically happen until I get the matching salary? Asking because I think I’m due for another title change given how long it’s been/ the work I’m doing now, but the company is still sorting out the money situation from my last title change. So in a bit of a weird pattern now. I’d prob be okay with just the new title honestly
