Currently own/live in a condo and plan to buy a single house to live in and rent out the condo. Will my interest rate on the single property be higher as a result? Or since only the condo will be used as an investment property, this won't impact the single house rate? Debt ratio is not a factor as it will be 20% for both mortgages.

I currently max out my 401k, is it worth reducing my 401k contributions to save aggressively for a 20% down payment. My lease ends in July so would consider buying around that time frame. Or is it better to keep maxing 401k and just put less down and pay the PMI?

Bought a condo and was informed by the existing tenant that the bedroom window in the winter collects way above normal amount of condensation to the point that the floor beneath the window is soaked. Tenant said they informed the prior owners numerous times to the issue but were ignored. No mention of it on any disclosure form. Is this grounds for a lawsuit? Pretty new the property owner stuff.

Construction costs / inflation / Costa Rica: I am considering buying land & building a short-term vacation rental villa in Costa Rica. Sole goal is to get a 10%+ ROI (going there for holidays as extra perk).
