Currently pursuing a MBA, and am deciding which focus areas to take.
I am trying to pivot from UX design to product in tech.
Ideal sector: FinTech
Current sector: Mobile Gaming
Related sectors: Entertainment, Edutainment, e-Commerce, Social

Aiming at head of product or head of design as long term goal.

If only 2 focuses, would you pick Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation, or Global Challenges in Business?
Advice appreciated!

Business analytics and entrepreneurship. I’ve moved from product design to product management and product is inherently entrepreneurial and a lot of decisions are based on analytics.

Hello, I currently have my 63 and 65, I work as a financial adviser. I am studying for my CFA Level 1 in May. I am currently unhappy in my role and don't want to be client facing anymore and have more of an interest to work in investments. I just finished doing Python Investment Analysis courses for equities and fixed income securities. I am considering taking my Series 79 to move into investment banking while I continue to study for my CFA. Thoughts? What exam provider is best?

Is there a reason why and what skill sets would people need to be competitive?

Hi everyone. I’ve spent almost a decade at a very large saas company and it’s time for me to consider my next adventure. Been at the same company 6+ years, and killing my quota consistently (last 5 years 25%+ when team growth goals were 3-6%). Coworker got promoted to sales manager when she finished an MBA and now I will be reporting to her. Her only sales experience is at this company (6 yrs) and numbers were average. I have 15+ years sales experience and an MA. I asked to continue to report to the director, but told no. Time to move on to a company that values my contribution? This feels like a demotion.

The Job requirement says its Entry Level, but the experience it requires is always 6 year+... like how would a fresher match that.. should I've started coding at 6th grade or what?

I understand that it's a way of "SEO" in LinkedIn but it just discourages us freshies.

Actually not sure if this post belongs in this bowl but.. it is what it is?
P.s. I still apply to these because what's the worst that could happen... right?

I’ve been peeking at internal openings lately and have been at a crossroad on whether or not it’d be more valuable to move “down” per say in title to an Analyst/Business Analyst position or apply to other “entry” level manager positions like a Program Manager.

Which ones have greater career prospects?

Not a career pivot, but I was laid off recently and need a new job as a Legal Operations Manager. I was at a startup, though I like the culture, they are pretty unpredictable and employees tend to pay for the lack of structure. I am looking for a great work culture, with no high turnaround for longevity to grow in my career. I'm new to legal operations, so it's been tough to present a strong experience. I have over 10 years legal background, but that doesn't seem noticeable. Need help. In limbo

I’m constantly giving interviews and gratefully I’ve bagged offers from 3 Fortune 500 firms and the firms who are not even under fortune 1000 are the ones who have this kind of attitude. What say?
