Hi fishes,
My post is about altering every new joinee of Accenture that don't fall into Sodexo meal card fraud.
Accenture will not let you use Sodexo other than swigy and Zomato food delivery. They don't let you use Sodexo money to grocery shopping.
I get to know this after 6 month of declaring my compensation plan
Fishes.... please let me know if there is any other way to use Sodexo money in Bangalore or when can I change my compensation plan now...??

Hi, How are exit opportunities for Deloitte (and other Big4) employees? Do we get good hike due to Deloitte/big 4 brand name, or calls from foreign companies? Should I stay in Deloitte due to its brand name or just move to new organization because of higher CTC? Yoe: 5 Cctc: 17.5 lpa EY Deloitte PwC KPMG

Equity should be provided to all employees. That's the point of being at a startup. If founders don't understand this, they are inexperienced and it doesn't portend well for the rest of the business.
How should I go about assessing how much equity? I have dealt with equity from public companies but this is my first time dealing with a startup so unsure how the math works.
I think you should negotiate for equity .. Series A is on the early side, so even though you have an improved TC there is greater risk (compared w deloitte especially). Equity helps balance the scale (risk -> upside)
Kind of like Attorney 1 said in the main thread, equity is arguably table stakes for a startup, especially at Series A. I think you need to come back with with a proposed TC package where maybe you sacrifice bonus for equity. Be proactive and have them react to what you put together… also, I know it might be uncomfortable, but aim a little higher than what you believe you could get. That helps anchor the negotiation towards your goal.
If they come back firmly no, I’d probably look for another role. (A firm no feels kind of sketchy.. that reads as disrespect for the team taking a risk to grow this company, or maybe their funding was super expensive and they have less equity to dish out ie pretty risky bet ergo you want that equity)
Demand for equity or don’t take it.
I agree whole-heartedly.
Always always always equity!!!!!!!! And there are different types!
Unlikely to get 40% bonus. And the whole point of working for a startup is large equity stake that will hopefully increase to 1M+ value by the time of IPO
