Will experience in a big 4 make a difference even if it's just 1 year? I got an offer from another firm (top 10) and it's in my hometown with classmates that I know, industries that interest me and I really want to go. I was wondering if with that just one year of experience in a big 4, going to another top firm (but not big 4) and staying until manager. Will I still have a shot of becoming a CFO or comptroller for a big company in the future? Thanks in advance for all the feedback.
Kamusta? I'm new here. I'm a CPA in the Philippines. I'm thinking if I can continue my profession and progress my career in other country and also to seek higher salary with great benefits but less cost of living. Where do you think should I start checking on? 😁 I'm thinking if I should go back as External Assurance Auditor to where I am 2.5 yrs ago in a one of the Big 4 before I became a Consultant on a project-based as, so far, as Tax Specialist. Any advise to my baby mind? Thank you! 😊

What is the best option for IB/PE/Big 4 valuation: 1. Graduate college early in 3 years (most likely with two off-cycle internships in IB/corp fin and possibly with two finance internships this summer) and leave with my bachelors in finance and certificate in business information systems 2. graduate in four years with a double major (finance and accounting) and certificate in business information systems. I would most likely be able to secure a junior year summer IB analyst role. My GPA: 3.7
Partners that have experience at MBB and B4+ACN - if you were to choose a firm, excluding the one you are at now, which one would you pick if the only criteria were: thought leadership, reputation with clients, and intellectual horsepower of colleagues.

Hi, I’m travelling to Canada on PR status by July 2022. I currently work for one of the Big 4 consultancies (been here since five years). I would like to understand how much weight that would carry when searching for a job in Canada. Would it even matter? Also, can you suggest if it’s a good idea to approach job consultancies? If yes, any recommendations? PwC EY Deloitte KPMG
