Associates start all year, every month.

Like ZS1 said - start dates happen just about every other week

As soon as you’re willing, if we give you an offer.

What do you mean they haven't been clear? If you've been extended an offer, there should have been a discussion about when you would start. There is usually a decent amount of flexibility, depending on your situation. I think most people probably start 2-3 weeks after accepting the offer, and if applicable, giving notice to current employer. But some may start a bit sooner or even later, particularly if they want to take time off in between jobs. Don't be afraid to work out a date that works for you and ZS.

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
