Which company would you join?
I currently work in Sales with the intention of moving over to marketing in the near future. I received two offers for BDR/SDR roles from Sprout Social and Gong. Both salaries are around the same (Gong - base 63k + anticipated $25k in commission, Sprout - 55k base + anticipated $25k in commission).
I like both companiesâ software and it extremely hard to decide which position will get me into marketing faster as it is not a traditional BDR path to take.
Help!

Why not buy in the R-B corridor? If you already like Arlington and need to commute to Herndon, that seems like the much smarter choice.
Yeah I would consider Ballston or even Reston. This is going to be a rough commute.
Ballston or even falls church will be the best bang for your buck esp with that commute
I live in Mt Vernon Square and recommend it. Access to 395 if you need a highway. The neighborhood is pretty quiet itself, but easily walkable to u st, h st, Chinatown, Shaw.
Iâm at AdMo and I love it! A little further up but itâs a great area!
Iâd suggest Foggy bottom as it has the Rosslyn type vibe of younger folks but fairly quiet after business hours. Itâs also super easy to get to 66 which is what youâll want if youâll be driving to Herndon.
Thanks!
I agree about Foggy, but it's the most expensive area to buy in, from my research đ
Why not just buy a condo in Rosslyn?
Rosslyn is definitely an option, just keeping my options open
