Currently rethinking my lessons for next year, does anyone do guided notes for any of their math classes? Or in general... high school classes?

I definitely do guided notes for biology. Fill in the blanks that go along with a PowerPoint with all of the figures/diagrams in the packet. It’s not the only thing we do to reinforce knowledge, but that is the anchoring set of information for every unit we do.

I require them to keep a binder, but don’t do binder checks or anything- I teach an AP level class, so they know that they’ll need this stuff come exam time and they keep themselves pretty organized.

QQ for any TTP users: what would you recommend as the most accelerated use of the portal? I have my GMAT in about 10 days. I've had access for half a month and I'm through ~20% problems. I've only targeted sections where I felt I needed the most improvement mainly focusing on chapter tests. If I haven't met the accuracy needed, I've then spent time on the lessons and usually hit the accuracy after. For additional context, aiming for Q47+. I was on a Q45 on a Veritas mock last week.

First timer and can drive to mammoth/lake tahoe so that saves on airfare, but b/w just the 2.5hr lesson, gear rental, clothing rental, and 3 day lift tickets, that’s $1000 alone. I wanna do it before my body can’t handle an activity like that (I have patellar tendonitis, herniated disc) but man, this trip is costing more than half of what I predict one of our Euro trips next year will cost. No wonder I never went growing up 😔

Quick update for those who might be curious about the situation in my school and our lack of COVID precautions. I often comment on here about how my school stayed in person all year last year with almost no difference from a normal year. No mask mandate, no teachers or staff masking. 10% or less of students masking. Very few vaccinated here. Results: we have no students, staff, or family members in the hospital. Very few cases either. Two months of this now.
