Currently work as a VP of Sales with 15 YOE. Im managing a large team and revenue target for a growing business. The money is good but I can’t help this nagging feeling of doing something else. What options are there to move into consulting but not the typical post-MBA consulting role? For example I know McKinsey has their implementation business where they’ll hire experienced sales and marketing execs. What other opportunities are out there? Is the pay good? What’s the WLB like?

Left Deloitte early last year and was asked to payback 50% of my sign-on bonus which I did. How do I claim the tax refund for the 50% that I repaid since taxes were already deducted on the full bonus when I got the original payout? Has anyone worked through this with Deloitte?

I applied for role with x company. After going though the interview process with X, the hiring team was impressed and wanted me on the team, recruiter calls let me know they are working on a final offer letter. my final interview for company y is the following day, Y extends a written offer right after. I email X explaining the situation and asking for a written offer to compare, they make me wait saying budget is not set, I took company Y offer but felt led on by X, has this happened to anyone?
