Currently working as an IT consultant , I have certifications for Microsoft and AWS cloud services almost solution architect level for both. Working on that in February. I have 2 yrs exp in IT business consulting in a functional less technical space. Looking to pivot into data & analytics in an entry/associate level roles with these certifications what other experiences & skills should I have in order to come into an analytics role? UG Degree was quantitative but not technical chem engineering.

A year ago I moved to an HCOL area to accept a new position, however, I do not go into the office daily. I just go whenever my team needs to be in office. Was wondering has anyone moved out of an HCOL area to save money on rent and was it frowned upon when your firm found out? With inflation and rent going up I’m considering moving 3 hours away where rent is half the cost I’m paying now.

Hows the industry doing in MENA right now? Any worries about a potential crash? Are firms still hiring? Based in the US and everything is tense here with the recent tech layoffs

My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?
