Currently working at a start up and have been there for 5 months. Love the job, love the people, learning a lot, but feel I’m underpaid quite a bit. Have offers for 50% more than my current salary. Is it dumb to not take them?

Two thoughts:
1. Absolute numbers matter a bit here. If you're comfortable with your current pay, then wait for a few more months mainly because you're enjoying the work and learning. After year 1, you can always discuss a salary hike.
2. Do your other offers compare to current job in terms of work, people and learning/personal development? If yes, ask them if they're willing to give you X months to leave your current job and join. If yes, you tell your startup team that you'll be moving on in X-y months and willing to train anyone they want to onboard (I'd not be suggesting this if it was a big co.). Then take the y months vacation between jobs.

If you love it, I’d stay for a bit longer so it doesn’t look like you were fired. Btw I lived on 60k in SF - things are expensive, yes, but 90k is more than doable.

For reference, 2.5 YOE, in San Francisco. Current salary is 120 TC, offers are for 160 and 175 and are promotions.

Yes

Have a candid discussion about salary expectations with your manager if you're performing well and want to stay

Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

What do you think is a good salary for a Creative Technologist fresh from a masters in the UK?

Just received a new offer, the base salary is 10% below what I expected but I really like the company and I would probably join it anyway. Does it make sense to ask for a raise? If yes, which one do you think it is the best way to do it?
Also, I believe that the offer is lower than expected because I now work in a poorer country and therefore my actual salary can’t be compared to the country I will work in (Portugal vs UK)

For the best response to your post, please include the following:

Your location or HCOL/MCOL/LCOL ("high cost of living" city etc), years of experience, and any other relevant information for context.

Example:

"Engineer in a HCOL with 5 YOE currently making 85k and know I'm very underpaid. What should I be aiming for?"

These variables have a great affect on salary and you'll get better answers the more details you provide.

Cheers!
