McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

Two thoughts:
1. Absolute numbers matter a bit here. If you're comfortable with your current pay, then wait for a few more months mainly because you're enjoying the work and learning. After year 1, you can always discuss a salary hike.
2. Do your other offers compare to current job in terms of work, people and learning/personal development? If yes, ask them if they're willing to give you X months to leave your current job and join. If yes, you tell your startup team that you'll be moving on in X-y months and willing to train anyone they want to onboard (I'd not be suggesting this if it was a big co.). Then take the y months vacation between jobs.
If you love it, I’d stay for a bit longer so it doesn’t look like you were fired. Btw I lived on 60k in SF - things are expensive, yes, but 90k is more than doable.
For reference, 2.5 YOE, in San Francisco. Current salary is 120 TC, offers are for 160 and 175 and are promotions.
