Currently working at Deloitte Consulting, west coast, ~6 months out of undergrad, and I've been aligned to SAP. I see myself eventually transitioning to Cyber out of passion and interest.

Can anybody enlighten me on the transition process? What can I do to further my chances and explore this realm of Deloitte.

A good place to start and build a network within deloitte would be with cyber people on your project; I imagine most SAP implementation projects will have a cyber/application security component associated with it. If SAP security interests you, that would be a logical jump. If not, it’s a great place to start building your cyber network nevertheless.
You’re probably aware already, but cyber would pay less than DC for a similar level

As for the process, I believe you would need cyber PPMD support and potentially go through interviews . There are many threads in fishbowl talking about the process to move from advisory to DC, and the reverse process should be pretty similar

Was Director of Marketing, but for the past two years, marketing is gone by the way side as an after thought and I’m more involved in the development of the product and the customer service side… same salary… can’t get a new job to save my life! Looking for thoughts and opinions about HR involvement in employee promotions. More specifically passing up an experienced employee for not having a college degree. We have an employee in our office, who applied for a promotion and despite having a degree, would be a perfect fit. Several supervisors recommended this employee for the position but HR denied the promotion for lack of a degree. I have a graduate degree and I still feel that experience is sometimes more valuable. Thoughts?

I recently got a new job at a startup. I have little to no experience in reviewing commercial contracts but the sales pitch was that they are going to bring my area of expertise inhouse and until then, I would learn and help with contract reviews. Initially I thought this would be a great opportunity but now overwhelmed & doubting if I made the right choice. Learning a new area is so hard(!!). Esp so b/c I still get recruiter reach out for opportunities that better fit my profile.
