I got hired in B4 FDD as a senior after being laid off with1.5 years of audit experience. It’s definitely possible.

I’d say try and get in first before worrying about level. Promotion is less structured in FDD so you can get promoted rather quickly if you are good.
As noted already by other folks, think you would have a decent shot. The “three busy seasons” rule isn’t a requirement, but definitely something nice to have. As long as you’re a strong performer in audit, got above average reviews, and interview well (both technically and behaviorally), I don’t see why not.

Will do!
For a SA, 3 years is the norm, however 2-3 can be done for high performers. I think the only shot to transfer before 2 would be as an associate.
Yes I switched externally between big4s. My answer was in regard to external transfers

I don’t, but some friends do and they have an integrated approach and bankers to boot. They don’t have any restrictions like a big 4
Also, in the event that employers would only consider me for FDD associate roles, how much do these associates make in HCOL cities? (NYC/SF/LA)
