Venture capital investment syndicates have grown exponentially in the past year. They are a great way to index early-stage private investments and invest at 0% management fee alongside tier 1 institutional VC funds. Above is a link to Chaos Ventures, one of the most active syndicates on AngelList. There are several other quality syndicates as well. There is no commitment to join these syndicates. You simply sign up and invest on a deal by deal basis.
Hello Fintech team,
I'd love to have some insight on Contis
https://www.contis.com/?
Location : London
If anyone is familiar with it: they are in Open banking, payments space and I'd be interviewing with them for a product role this week.
Any insight on culture, products, teams, London based opportunity, etc. would be very helpful! Thanks a ton for your support
Don’t just focus on pay. Do t get me wrong oh is important but you need to find a place where you are happy where the environment fits your career goals and also one where you feel the company is invested in you. I hear there is a lot of opportunity in fintech so you can probably easily find a company that will pay you better and one that treats you better quite easy.
I would start looking around then. There are many companies where you can get paid why your worth and you don’t want to get stuck there if your not happy.
Also consider the companies mission statement, culture and values and not just on what they will pay you. Money will only keep you happy for so long.
Some great questions to ask are what are the advancement opportunities or what is the timetable in which top producers are offered growth opportunities or promotions? Even if your not looking to go higher this will give you a good feel for a company and how they operate.
