My company’s SOP template has a table of contents and a section at the top where the SOP owner is supposed to add a short statement containing the “Why” of the SOP, meaning a statement about what the SOP is supposed to solve for/ accomplish. A co-worker recently told me that it should also contain a checklist of the 4-5 main points of what the team member should know how to do after reading the SOP…. This seems really redundant to me. Hi, I am on H1B and partipated in an online survey (a few of them last year). I only get to redeem the points for gift cards (no cash transactions) but once the overall redemption crossed $600 previous year, I was asked for ssn to issue a 1099-MISC form (I did confirm with the company). But now I got a 1099-NEC form (non employee compensation) which I believe should not be getting on h1b as it is considered as self employment. Any ideas on how to deal with this?

Been feeling pretty great the last few days. Was able to reflect a bit and this Summer/Fall up until about a week ago were some of lowest points I’ve felt in my life. Do you believe the value of the voucher needs to be taxed like gift cards?
