Had a really rough drinking episode this past weekend. Broke some things in our house. Don’t remember. For 20 years now, I can have 1-2 drinks and be fine 9/10 times, and that 10% I go HARD. Sometimes I just really need it, but it’s always filled with regret the next day. I really want to be able to drink a glass of wine or have a couple beers, but now my SO says 100% abstinence. Is it possible with my background and history or abuse to even try to do this anymore, or should I completely stop.

This is my routine:
- I have curly hair, can only wash it once a week/put dry shampoo if needed
- I brush my teeth 2 times a day
- Wear deodorant / perfume every day (my way, and good girl) and shave off any hair (I did laser but still), as much as possible. Some days, I cannot keep up with shaving (especially if it won’t show)
- I wear pantyliners and change it once a day/ change panties once a day
- I shower my body every day

I am 34 and my average bed time at night is 8:30 to 9 - on weekdays. My wife says m boring.

I have been dating my gf for 6 months now. She’s a nice enough girl to hang out with but recently I’ve been feeling as though the effort in the relationship is really imbalanced. For example, she never offers to pay for dinner, never offers to cook for us (I do it), never buys gifts and doesn’t want to have sex (she she’s a virgin and wants to be sure I’m committed before she’s ready but she is happy receiving oral though).

Am I a sucker here? I’m 27, she’s 25.

My wife and I are both terrible housekeepers and our clutter is overwhelming us. We have two kids under 3 and a wonderful nanny but we need more help at home. How do we throw money at this problem? Where do we start to get ongoing professional help decluttering, organizing, cleaning, etc.? What has worked for you?

My kids are asking why I have to work so much. Hard to explain this to an 8 and 5 year old without terrifying them...

I’ve been helping couples navigate the challenges of infertility for over 20 years now. Recently, I’ve noticed more couples feeling apprehensive to continue treatment because they are worried about potential repercussions if they miscarry during the IVF process. Honestly, I’m not sure how to reassure them because I also feel afraid, but I just want to continue supporting these wonderful couples & families.
