Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.
How am I supposed to give notice to my current employer without knowing BGC status ?
Please advise if someone faced this situation.

I’m experiencing a lot of miscommunication personally and at work. People say to me “we’ll that’s not what you said” “you didn’t make that clear” “you didn’t say that before.” In my mind, I feel I couldn’t have been more clear. It’s like there is a disconnect between what I think I am saying and the words coming out of my mouth. Then when I think back to the convo, I remember saying what I was thinking, and second guess the exact words I used. Does this happen to else?

My SO got I140 approved, but employer’s lawyer is saying that they retain the original I140. Is this normal practice? And if in future if my SO wants to change job, then does the transfer require original I140 ?

Some positive news, EADs have now started coming super quickly! Latest renewal just took 3-4 weeks (vs. 6 months), and card validity is now two years (vs. 1)

Just filed I-485 and I-140 concurrently with I-140 in PP, along with EAD and AP, under EB2 and NSC. Can anyone clarify what the next steps are, and approximate timelines?

Cleared all my rounds of interview with Adobe.
They comeback saying I was good and everything, but don’t have budgets for sponsorship.
