D🦈, I have an offer to move over to the cyber security practice. Can anyone shed insight on the quality of the perks? For example, equity, 401k match, health insurance, etc.. Thanks in advance!

That info isn't in your offer package?

I have only received an offer letter stating salary, sign on bonus, and expected EOY bonuses

The standard benefits info should’ve been available to you also. Ask your recruiter.

Cyber should be under advisory not consulting if I’m correct. But to answer your question, 401k match is 25% for every dollar you contribute up to 6% of your total base. Health insurance is just standard and nothing surprising.

$500 wellness sub every year to be used in any health related expenses like gym, yoga and even Apple Watch purchase.

Welcome!

OP - this $500 is use it or lose it and get replenished every Deloitte fiscal year. You are able to expense half of the amount qualified purchase. I.e. you are buying an Apple Watch for $500 you can only expense $250. Say it in another way you need to spend $1000 to use up the $500 given to you. Does it make sense?

How do I launch an insurance agency?
Context: I just started a sales role 3 months ago
State Farm. It’s my first time ever doing sales. Huge success so far, (nothing extravagant yet), but it’s only been 3 months. I’m currently selling 50+ policies a month.

I know sales isn’t everything it takes to start an Agency. Where should I try to pursue growth before starting an agency?
Follow Up Question: Is my boss hyping me up or is 50+ policies a month pretty good?

I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
