I’m currently 6 months into my first job, and I plan on bringing up my salary during my 1 year performance review (we do 1 every quarter). Since our company doesn’t have stocks, my TC would just be base salary + benefits. When doing my research on the market value and average compensation for similar roles in the same location (I’m going to be using levels.fyi), would it be fair to compare my TC with the TC of a company that offers bonuses such as stock bonuses?
