He says 3 hours of 'brain stimulating/utilizing work' + rest of the work day for admin, answering emails, repetitive tasks etc.

Love him. As with anything, being hyper regimented and following someone else’s protocol to the minute is not the way — but personally I use a lot of these tactics and they work remarkably well
Bright light, water and electrolytes early, delayed caffeine, intentional focused bouts of work for deep thought, minimized morning carbs, protein heavy lunch, sunset light exposure, NSDR/yoga, strong sleep hygiene

Let me just move to the mountains real quick
All this is great. Consider that today began last night. Part of my night time ritual is a digital sunset. 1-2 hours before bed no screens. Just analog or family time.
