Is it good to leave the company in 2 months?
I am looking for two new teachers (0-5 years) who would be interested in participating in a study I am doing as a Doctoral Candidate at Baylor. The study looks to understand the experiences women working in the field of education have had that triggered shame and explore their resilience. If you are interested, click the link below to get started: bit.ly/ShameResilienceStudy

P1 maybe if you worked a full day you would know how to pass out the right envelope
What do your hours have to do with your paycheck?
D1 thanks for your analysis, I get it's tax season and you have a full hard on, but relax
Unless he's figuring his hourly rate which gets smaller every additional hour of work for salaried.
Unless an analyst posted this, SA's and above are nonexempt employees and hours per pay period have no weight on the amount you get paid
I am an analyst, I get paid hourly
A2 thank you for the clarification
LOL at PwC we work 1/2 days. 7am-7pm
^has no affect on paycheck though, so that part is confusing...damn it OP, we want answers!
We get paid twice a month and since February had fewer days, our last paycheck was smaller than normal. That's what this is talking about
Whats OT 🤔
I like 24 paychecks a year far more than 26. And A2 oohhhhh that explains a lot! I too get paid hourly and billed +45% this period and was expecting a bigger paycheck. Damnit! Gotta do it for next time.
^ No. D1 is a jerk, but he's right about those terms. Biweekly = every other week = 26 checks/year. Semi monthly = 2x/month = 24 checks/year
Read the comments A6
You should understand by now if you read the comments. OP didn't work 72 hours in one week. We all worked (or at least billed) 72 hours in the last pay period. Normally we have 88 in one pay period. So our paychecks were lower.
If you can't budget around this then you have money problems. That being said, getting paid twice a month is weird. Just do bi weekly paychecks like everyone else.
Ah got it. Thought you meant 72 in's week. D1 -'lots of places pay semi monthly. Or just monthly... Like us
March has a 96 hour pay period
D1 Biweekly = semi monthly
how would it kill your paycheck? you just got a ton of OT
