What’s a standard salary/hr rate for a VP of digital strategy in Chicago?

Thinking about looking for something new to up my salary. Love my current company, but salaries haven’t felt competitive and I don’t foresee a significant raise anytime soon. I’m a B2C telesales manager with a team of 13. We do around 300k in sales per month. I make a 70k base, monthly bonuses amount to between 25-40k annually. Is this way too low? I have some acquaintances with seemingly similar roles and revenue targets who are making between 150 - 200k

Managing people seems like the only way to avoid an early career plateau. If you’re managing a team, why do you think you were given the opportunity over others? Has anyone been hired to a new company as a first time manager? Or did you work your way up to managing counsel at one company?

I have a question. I have enough credits for the CPA exam, but before I realized that I was aiming for a Master in Accounting and got accepted in my school 5 year program for that purpose. Is there any benefit of getting said master? Or should I focus on passing the CPA exam instead? I just finished my first tax internship and everybody said that the CPA was unavoidable but nobody talked about any benefit of getting a master whatsoever.

I am an ETL developer who got a chance to work on spark recently within my organization. Initially struggled and now got comfortable with scala spark in my project. I am looking to change job in data engineering but most JDs I see are asking for pyspark and not scala spark, only few are asking scala or Java or python.

Should I really learn python and pyspark as well to be able to find more opportunities? Or should I only apply for scala based roles?

Go back to school for a master's($14k) in information systems that will teach Net, SAP, SQL Server, UML, XML, Rapidminer, Tableau, Python, R, Blockchain, cybersecurity tools, and more OR get certifications for some of these platform? I currently have 2.5 yoe, have some work experience with Tableau and different SQLs, validating data, etc. My goal is to break into this industry and have enough skill to exit Accenture within a year or two. Currently in the TDP program.

Rapidminer vs python vs sagemaker. I was thinking we need to know python and know coding to apply try ML use cases. I was trying to do a poc for sometime. But rapidminer, it seems can do these things
