Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Alright what are some good watches besides a Rolex ?

I was recently recruiting for the past month at a firm. multiple rounds only to get rejected yesterday. the only thing I was after for that job was the money(I quite like the culture at my current team, more so with the company I interviewed for). But I feel embarrassed to tell my friends that I didn’t get the offer (in fear that they will think im stupid/incapable). And from a $ perspective even when I get promoted, my friends would earn 6 figs and I won’t.

I'm applying for a job that wants at least two business or professional references. Thing is my current job is my first job out of college and I don't want them contacting my current employer. Who am I suppose to list as a reference? Leave it blank although they personally asked for references? List college professors? Ask a coworker to be a reference and not spread work I'm leaving?

Tried Calumet Farm bourbon tonight and was not at all impressed. If you see it, don’t waste your $$$.

It’s an 80s-range bourbon in terms of proof but for the price, I’ve found 90s-range proof bourbon with much better flavor served neat.
