Day 22: “The Yamakazi Single Malt Whisky: Distillers Reserve".
Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

I was recently recruiting for the past month at a firm. multiple rounds only to get rejected yesterday. the only thing I was after for that job was the money(I quite like the culture at my current team, more so with the company I interviewed for). But I feel embarrassed to tell my friends that I didn’t get the offer (in fear that they will think im stupid/incapable). And from a $ perspective even when I get promoted, my friends would earn 6 figs and I won’t.

For a AS2 with 4+ years of exp ..what is expected YOE as such to be promoted to SA1 in advisory PWC Ac?

I have 3.9 YOE in Wealth and Asset Management External audits (Private Equity) in EY GDS, quit in December 2021 to complete my ACCA papers, hopeful to finish by October. Any helpful tips on what I could transition to, I do not want to continue external audit and was looking at Internal audit or something in Advisory/FDD and eventually move to Financial Services companies in my career, but would love some career insights.

I'm applying for a job that wants at least two business or professional references. Thing is my current job is my first job out of college and I don't want them contacting my current employer. Who am I suppose to list as a reference? Leave it blank although they personally asked for references? List college professors? Ask a coworker to be a reference and not spread work I'm leaving?
“So was there a valid offer?”
Is anyone here a member of Zero Bond club? I am interested to hear your feedback and value you get. Thanks in advance!
What’s the reward of having the Pro Badge on here? Gamification is fun but there needs to be something tangible attached for it to matter.
Missing my son’s 1st birthday today. #sad
I got an email on Friday at 1:30 asking for my availability this week for an interview and I responded back Saturday at 11:30 and sent the recruiter an email letting him know I responded and I was looking forward to the interview but I haven’t heard back. Is this a bad sign or am I overthinking it?
Anyone hear anything from their coaches??

Happy Repeal Day! EC 23 and OF Presidential Choice Barrel 17 courtesy of my whisky buddies. What’s everyone drinking tonight?
Happy Friday - Final Round.
Is Red Spot worth it? I love Green Spot and Yellow Spot but am a bit hesitant to get closer to the $200 mark for a bottle
It’s Pappy Season!!
pretty excited to have scored me a weller full proof! great way to start 2021! what’s something you scored that you’re happy to share good times!?
Recently got some nice Rye Whiskeys as a gift. I know they are good for cocktails but do people typically drink Rye neat or another way?
The King Ranch is phenomenal for its price and availability. I’m a sucker for the OFSBBS.
Legent is tasty! This bourbon is finished in red wine and sherry casks, and blended by Suntory Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo - who has experience with truly legendary distilleries Hakushu and Yamazaki. A bourbon with noticeable fruit, caramel, and vanilla elements — and a very good bourbon for $40 at Total Wine. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
Tried Calumet Farm bourbon tonight and was not at all impressed. If you see it, don’t waste your $$$.
It’s an 80s-range bourbon in terms of proof but for the price, I’ve found 90s-range proof bourbon with much better flavor served neat.
Tonight's pour. Got this for $23, so figured why not. VERY light & you can really smell and taste the vanilla.
Today’s pickups 👍
Curious what people think of this. Has anyone tried a French/Swedish/German whiskey?
Who here is a bit of a glass snob-or is it just me-and what’s your go to glass? I went from a regular Glencairn to a fluted cognac glass, and now I’m all about a Waterford straight sided tumbler.
It’s been a long day…
