I have always wanted to move to San Antonio, TX (4hrs away from where I live). I told my employer because they also have offices there and they decided they would transfer me because they don't want to loose me. Yet San Anronio is a higher cost of living and they want to move me with the same pay! I decided to stay so I can move but, I need a Technology job in San Antonio. My department has had crazy turn over. Everyone except me and my supervisor are (less than 1 month in).

You'd think I'd be used to waking up alone every morning by now! The loneliest part of WFH. :(
Feeling unaccomplished and it's taking a toll on my performance and mental health. Dead end job that only imbues "soft skils" and I'm only gaining exp in an industry I'm not interested in.
Who’s leaving PwC? Raise yoooo haaaandddd 🤚
I'm in an interesting position. I got an offer for an Associate manger (level 8) role at a tier 2 firm. I asked if bumping it up to level 7 (Manager) role is an option, and was basically told that it is if I really want to, but I should be careful what I wish for. SM basically told me that he thinks I will be a lot better set up for success in the long run if I were to start at level 8. What are your thoughts? I would be coming from a large ad agency where I'm an Account Director.
I am a Learning & Development profession (Operations, Project Management), been in the industry for more than 7 years. I am looking for relevant certification/credentials to brush up my qualification. Any suggestions? Thanks so much! 🙂
For any desi person that still lives at home with your parents, how do you deal with the emotional abuse and yelling from your parent(s)? As I get older, it’s affecting me more now. Any tips to not let it affect me and ways to maintain happiness? I am caregiver so I’m not going to move out.
I am interested in going to law school. How long should I stay at KPMG/in consulting before making the jump to law school? Should I consider doing a joint JD/MBA? I am interested in practicing either political campaign law and/or business/tax law.
PwC SA what’s your base pay and starting bonus?
Currently been in DDV the past 3 years and I am stuck. I’ve had interviews and final rounds but feel like my experience is too general to get the offer. I’ve done primarily IT/Ops DD and IMO/SMO work. I’m ultimately targeting S&O / bizops, Corp strategy, or program management in tech. Any suggestions on any mid-point pivots I can make to end up in tech?
A and M partner/managing director TAS annual gross salary? Did not think it was over 1m annual but some posts in this forum have me thinking otherwise.
What is the maximum salary range possible for 20% of employees in IT industry in india. Trying to understand a non executive max range. How much years of experience do these people have?
Is it normal to be threatened to be fired after making mistakes that you had no idea were mistakes in the first place? I’m a junior litigation associate at a small firm, and the managing partner says things like “you aren’t providing value to the firm” or “you’re being paid to avoid mistakes like these” when I make mistakes due to, what I believe, to be a lack of guidance and instruction. As in, they could be easily avoided with a “please keep in mind X” or something like that. Thoughts?
Question for you sales and saas guys. I work for a fast growing startup and we are billing around 200 K a month. I am in charge of the sales team and our CFO mandates that we collect ACH payment information on every agreement. The problem with this is we have to reel in micro deposit amounts from customers and it feels like herding cats. I’ve worked for three great tech companies and I’ve never had ACH nor have I ever paid for services with ACH. Is this a totally dated process?
