I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. But due to client work load, i won't be able to do that. So, I have resigned from PSL mentioning the same that promotion will not happen.
But my manager told me that he will try to give me a promotion in next cycle (ignoring the credit points clause). He is asking me to withdraw resign
Shall I withdraw my resign? Persistent

I believe Albany has a big part to play in it. Let's not forget all the corruption from the likes of Sheldon Silver all those years. On the local level I blame Guiliani for the racial tensions that was built up. People like to praise him for bringing crime down but forget that crime across the whole country was trending down. He just inflamed the racial tensions burning since the crown heights riots. Sure Deblasio can be incompetent, but its been happening way before him.
I’ll just leave this here....
I’m with you. Letting homeless live in hotels is a slap in the face to the tax base. I have family on the West Side of Manhattan who have seen some messed up NSFW things since the homeless arrived. De Blasio doesnt understand the top 1% in NYC pay 50% of the taxes.....
You lost me at “The US did not win WWII”
Back2Back World War Champs!
The US was is in the war for several years and supplied most of the troopers for the turnaround including the invasion of Normandy. Look it up, it happened!
Blas, has taken some flak unjustly. Cuomo was solely responsible for the idiotic subway shutdown, and he inherited the City government from a vastly overrated administrator in Bloomberg. (See, e.g., City Time.) He is (ssshhhh, don’t tell the nimbys) relatively friendly to development. He’s also done more than Bloomberg ever did to tie off labor disputes and to deal with school over-crowding. Unfortunately, building schools takes time, and the expanding neighborhoods are still living with Bloomberg’s total failure on that front.
To be clear, I’m not a fan of de Blasio’s. His covid response was a disaster; the presidential run was silly; it doesn’t help the city that he can’t get along with Cuomo; and I’m satisfied that I pay enough taxes, thanks very much. But there’s an unfair tendency to blame de Blasio for everything wrong with the City or liberals in general.
Great comment.
No one changes their mind. Especially people who say “Change My Mind”. What would change your mind ?
Rudy was the worst. Look up how he refused to move the communication tower to Brookyln and left it in the world trade towers because he liked taking his gf (cousin) there. Had the tower been moved, communication wouldn’t have been disabled on 9/11 and firemen and police would have been told to get out of the buildings before they collapsed.
What a ridiculous justification for your point.

By all accounts Beame was a decent human, but this was a real low point in the city's history. we're nowhere near this level of decline at the moment. We have an opportunity to get De Blah out, but there are lots of other cooks in the kitchen that influence what happens in our fair city.
