Relax OP. The job is designed to make the superiors look like they care, so you overwhelm yourself. Take a chill pill, get through it, and just continually remind yourself it means nothing. Because it doesn't.

Seems like you gotta make it known you need extra bodies. Either that, or prepare to put in 60+ hours.

Communicate with your seniors/ managers so they are aware of any issues you have (or if you're approaching things wrongly) and can pull on extra resources if necessary.

If it's audit, isn't that what archive time is for? As long as to tested everything, documentation can come after report issuance date.
