How long does it take to get a project in IBM GBS. I have approx 7 years experience and I am from Oracle EBS Technical background. I joined on 22-DEC but not got called for any project yet by Resource manager. I called her but she said that it will take some time. I am now worries since it is going like 2 weeks. Could you please suggest what to do? Any lead would be highly appreciated.

How to stop thinking about work in my free time?

Anyone from CG who went on site for short duration and was paid per diem allowance. Just wanted to know the process of applying for tickets and other related formalities. Seems to be a bit tedious process looking at the policy manual so wanted to know if anyone can help. My client is planning to send me on-site next month so wanted this information.

Anyone working with Syneos Health. I need an understanding of the Project Data Manager role. is it same as a Clinical Data Manager?

So I guess starting the day at 7 am is just the norm now? I had to rearrange my workout schedule to accommodate for constant early morning asks. I left that company due to a lack of boundaries and after a month at the new job, the 7 am business is starting again. Why does it have to be like this??? It feels like no matter what time of day or day of the week I try to have for myself, I can’t relax because I always have to be ready.

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Can someone recommend some marketing and design blogs? I am working on a project and my creative juices just aren't flowing.
