Deal sleds. Since we’re not wearing suits again, should we be going casual? I’ve been thinking about my post-WFH attire.
TikTok or Cepheid Biotech Hey guys, I need to make a decision today on whether I want to start a career as a Talent Sourcer at TikTok or as a Onboarding Specialist at Cepheid, a Biotechnology company. Both in the Bay Area at $35 per hour and both are currently WFH. The TikTok position is less stable and very numbers driven, while the Onboarding position is more “secure” but less exciting. I am overthinking the fact that I would need to be presenting orientations for hours a day, and could be shy
How is your company dealing with Covid. (Please no arguing but I’m curious) Our company is making Vaxxed people come into the office but non vaccinated are required to wfh.… I support choice of vaccination or not and this isn’t a post trying to lean to any side. But I’m more confused as this feels like punishment for getting the vaccine while those who chose not too are allowed to wfh during the holiday season. Our company is required all vaccinated people to come in 3x a week but those who
I went back to the office this month (3/4 days per week) and it’s been a positive experience. Plus it seems that some partners who are going in appreciated it. But the office is a 15 min drive away for me. Some people need to commute an hour plus to be there. Will they be at a disadvantage if they actually try to take advantage of hybrid WFH in the future?
Heading in to offer negotiations for Amazon Web Services Technical Account Manager (remote) with 8 YOE. What should I expect? I checked Levels, looking to calibrate myself against that.
Do anyone know what are the wfh kits will be provided by Hexaware for experienced employees who is joining newly to organization? Any ideas?
Is anyone’s agency compensating WFH office set up? 7 months in and my back is killing me but damn outfitting this is expensive!
How is The Martin Agency post-WFH? Heard lots of great things about it in the recent past, but curious since it seems like everywhere went downhill after the pandemic.
Could someone at Deloitte please share if you can still say remote or are required to go to office? Or any guidance from leadership.
Are you guys enjoying this mandatory work from home? Or you are so bored and ready to go back to office?
I’m a 2nd year civil litigation associate at a mid-sized firm in south Florida. My dream has always been to go in house but was dissuaded by law school professors telling me not to. I’m at a crossroads now because I’m OVER the billing, but my boss and direct team is quite possibly the most amazing and supportive group. My boss is always willing to let us work remote or take vacations. My question is, is the grass greener on the other side? Should I go in house now or wait another 3 years?
Before WFH was the norm we had a guy at our office setting up a auto reply email saying “Hi, I’m WTF today and might mot reply right away”
How do you politely ask a new company if you’ll be getting a laptop to wfh? If I’m not getting one I will have to buy a new personal computer.
Hi fishes, are there any us/uk Or other companies that allow work from home from India?? I m looking for QA positions
Anyone hiring a Junior Copywriter? Or Communications Specialist? Open to remote, LA, OC, Seattle, and Portland!
I’ve been getting left out of or forgotten from a few meeting invites and links to imp. things such as remote shoot viewings. Today was the 5th time it happened this year. I know I shouldn’t think of it much, but it does bring me really down and makes me feel like I’m invisible + less capable than my partner. My white male creative partner has never been left out of one. It doesn’t help that I’m an introverted woman of color who is less vocal. Has this happened to you? How did you overcome it?
Has your school/district polled parents about what they want to do? If so, what was the response?
I commenced international remote working to be closer to my friends and family, but now as my team's office is about to reopen, I'm missing the idea of commuting and the sense of community in being part of the 9am rush hour. Are there any other easy ways of building a sense of community? Cheers!
Anyone on here work at Moon Rabbit?
What the hell is a project management case interview? How do you even have a case for that type of role?? -_-
Could someone clarify what to expect in a Google RRK interview? Should I expect mainly behavioural/ traditional interview questions? Or would there be open-end questions requiring a framework?
Informal poll: what would it take to get you to give a shit about Israel’s annihilation of the Palestinian people?
Have some feedback that I sound more like a consultant than in-house. Any tips of how to address that during interview?
How long after the technical interview does Accenture take to give you the interview results. It's been a week I haven't heard back from them.
What is the smartest kid from your school doing?
I worked remotely from India for about 3 months earlier this year due to family emergencies. Tax perspective, I was told company will pay necessary India taxes. However, now I'm being told that I need to file individual taxes in India using IT portal. I'm unable to understand as I did not earn any income in India, from my company or other sources. My pay/deductions in the US stayed the same. I'd like to understand the process. Anyone had similar situation? As for residency, I have GC.
Anyone have the echelon stride? I’m looking into buying a treadmill and am drawn to this one bc of its foldable for when guests come over.
Argued with my Gf on this, I think money and success comes to those who have values and live by them; not those who live by money. If your life is driven by just making more money, it won’t be as successful as a person who is driven by values and is compensated for the value they give. What do you think?
How much of a drag is it to come from a hard nontarget (think T100 public state school, i.e., UConn, UMaryland, SUNY, etc) even if you're at MBB? Will headhunters reach out to my profile or will I have to make a more active effort?
Hi, I am hired as senior test engineer for automation testing profile in EY AND WIPRO The reason I am not selecting EY is just because I don't have any practical exposure working in automation testing and I am afraid that it's better to work in Wipro and get practical exposure and then try for big brands like EY. Also, in EY I will be asked to work in client location. Where I might get into difficult situation Anyone would like to comment on this? Is my decision of selecting wipro correct?
Starting daycare for my 13 month old next week. Very nervous. Any tips on how to make the transition easier? (for myself and her)
Thoughts on buying a vacation property in South Lake Tahoe? I know the area I want, so if not this one now, another one on that same street someday later. Right time to buy? Is this a good deal? Challenges or issues I'm not forseeing? Put 20% or pay in full? Might consider renting out as Airbnb when not in use, but even if not it's still affordable. HOA includes painting, deck repairs, ground maintenance, water, trash, cable TV and snow removal up to front door.
If I’m traveling during the week for client work, would it be against policy for my spouse or SO to stay at the hotel with me?
