Any idea of how much Lilly pays for AC role?
But switching teams is tough in Novartis. I was put into a role , i am not interested. I am 7 months of experience. But before 24 months you cannot switch teams. Yes but for freshers , Novartis is paying above business standard and the WLB is really great here.

I don’t think there’s much change in the salary unlike the bump you may get when you switch to other company.
P.S. this trend is everywhere. Externals are offered lucrative packages to attract them. So if it really hampers your work thinking about this, just jump ship
This could be because of the salary benchmarking exercise Novartis started in India and is still continuing to do. You can expect a salary correction in near future too. This is being done as part of pay transparency

Internal movement never assures you corrected salary. Yes there will be revisions as per team dynamics, but expecting 30-40% hike just like you are moving to any other company is highly aspirational.
Your salary will be adjusted only as per pay ranges defined for those roles..that is it.
Plus yes you need to serve basic eligibility tenure, i.e, 24 months to move to other team. If aiming for one level up then other factors (that will be clearly stated in JD) needs to be fulfilled.
Thanks for making me understand
